For the Spring 2012 cycle, twenty-eight (28) awards totaling $647,467.51 were funded by the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Student Technology Enhancement Program (STEP).  Of the those proposals funded, four (4) will have an annual sustainability fund impact of $39,674.90 (average $9,918.73/project).

The highest rated (by the STEP Council in rank order H-L) proposals for the cycle included: Wireless Network Legacy Replacement – Phase II, Wireless Internet Access in Lee Hall, Retention Technology Grant, Help Desk Support and Career Services Online Management System.  Funded grant scores ranged from (H-L) 90.28 to 61.67.  Other interesting awards included: readMedia Online Marketing Strategy, Enhancing Learning Through Games, Sales and Research Lab SMART Podium, and Edith Garland Dupré Library: Knowledge Imaging Centers for Digital Scanning.
